Chinese Lantern (Physalis), this is a group of annuals and perennials, which are grown for their fruits and for decoration. They grow wild in Europe, America and Asia and belong to the Potato family, Solanaceae.

This year, Mid-Autumn festival falls on the 12th Sept. Farmers celebrate the end of the fall harvesting season on this date. Traditionally on this day, Chinese family members and friends will gather to admire the bright mid-autumn harvest moon, and eat moon cakes and pomelosunder the moon together. Accompanying the celebration, there are additional cultural or regional customs, such as:
